As the title suggests, my name is Steve and I am a collector of autographs from stars and celebrities. I have been collecting autographs since November 2009 and my collection, while not as big as some, is steadilly growing. I first became interested in collecting autographs when a friend of mine, Pete, introduced me to the idea. I had asked him what he does outside of work and at first he said "I write letters..." and I wondered who to? He then explained all about collecting signatures and I was very curious! I decided to give it a try and my first success was from snooker player Willie Thorne who sent me a nice signed photograph. Of course after this success I was hooked and ever since then I write to stars and celebrities as and when I can. Not only has this hobby got me a lot of signed photo's and such but I have also made several friends through a forum I use quite often to share successes and get help and advice.
